Atkins Diet Food – Atkins Friendly Food

The rule of thumb is that if you have cravings a lot or are seriously stalled, cut the caffeine and/or alcohol and see where it takes you. Focus on lean cuts of beef and lamb. Even cheaper cuts of beef are good.

It’s good to cut down your milk consumption for the first two weeks, and see how your body likes it. You cut out things like pasta, bread, rice and alcohol, yet you eat unlimited amounts of meat, cheese and butter.

A low carb, high protein diet has been scientifically proven to improve insulin sensitivity, decrease blood pressure and cut blood insulin levels. No “diet” cheese, cheese spreads or whey cheeses are permitted. Vegetable and seed oils, cheese, dairy, nuts and legumes are used sparingly and in appropriate portions. Typical foods you can eat include meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and cheese, plus a limited amount of green vegetables such as asparagus, spinach, and broccoli

You can try more greens and other vegetables, half a cup of cottage cheese, one ounce of sunflower seeds, or a dozen macadamia nuts. When you stop losing weight, you subtract five grams of carbohydrate from your daily allotment, so that slow weight loss continues. Eat absolutely no fruits, bread, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables, or dairy products other than cheese, cream or butter.

As to fast foods hamburgers with no bun would be “OK”.  You should ask for the burger with no condiments to make this part easier. Fresh cheeses like cottage and farmer’s chesses are not allowed, nor are processed diet cheeses and cheese substitutes. No fries, no shakes. Also be sure you don’t eat any fruit.

The Atkins diet food List also includes aged cheeses as well as cheddars, and cow, sheep or goats cheese. It is not true that you can eat whatever you want as long as it doesn’t have carbohydrates. I suggest you visit a physician before starting a low carb or any other diet plan

While the pounds drop off, you’ll reap dozens of other fringe benefits as a result of making the switch to a controlled carbohydrate lifestyle. I’m finding a lot of previously “Low Carb” marked products are actually low carb normally.

Everything that is added has carbs. So keep your menu plans close to you and your high carb foods aside from you. Curing is not a friendly process to one who aims for a low carb diet.

Under the Atkins program, foods containing carbohydrates (like sugar, grains, and starches) are limited or replaced in favor of foods containing more protein and fat.  The Atkins diet menu stipulates that main weight loss will come from low carbohydrate intake. There are lots of great low carb chocolates and ice creams but avoid these for the first 2 weeks.

There are many ways to lose weight. So many that we often confuse on which method we should use. In this article I will show you my best weight loss plan. By doing this I’m sure you will lose weight. This plan has 3 parts: exercise, diet and diet supplement. In order to lose weight you need to use more than one methods. It is so hard if you want to lose weight just by using one method. Losing weight by doing a lot of exercise but still eat a lot of carb will not work.

Exercise

Exercise will burn your fat because when you are doing exercise you need energy. Cardio exercise is the best exercise to lose weight. Cardio means activity or exercise that speeds up the pumping of heart. Cardio or cardiovascular exercise can increase your general health and stamina. Most sports are cardio activity. There are a lot of exercises to choose from: soccer, swimming, basketball, bicycling, walking, running, dancing (Zumba) and even mowing your yard. The more you move the more fat you will burn.

Tips on doing exercise

•  Choose the exercise or sport that you like. Doing it with your friends will make it more fun.
•  When playing team sport like soccer or basketball, if you run a lot you will burn more fat.
•  Implement interval cardio in your exercise. Interval exercise combines low intensity movement with high intensity movement. For example you can start warming up with 1 minutes walking. Then you can increase the your running speed for 1 minute and do another 1 minute of low speed running. Do this combination of low and high intensity for 10 times. When you want to quit, do 1 minute of small walking.

Weight Loss Diet

There are also many diets out there, but to lose weight you just need low carb diet. Low carb diet means you are reducing your daily calorie intake by replacing high calorie food with low calorie food. If you usually eat 2,400 calories per day, you can reduce it to 2,000 calories per day or a deficit of 400 calories per day. In 10 days you can lose a pound, since to lose a pound you need to burn 3,500 calories. The most important food you must avoid is anything that is related to sugar like sweet potatoes, donuts, sweet soft drink etc.

Diet supplement

The diet supplement will help you lose weight faster. You can drink green tea or Oolong tea daily. They are both scientifically proven to lose weight. Oolong tea is better than green tea if you want to lose weight. Preparing tea takes a lot of time, if you don’t have too much time you can buy green tea or oolong tea pills. Ideally, you should have an intake of 3 liters of water a day, but drinking at 2 liters will ensure enough that you are on the right track of your slimming success.

Summer tip #3—It would really help you a lot if you have a positive and constructive mindset. If it means creating a vivid picture of how you want to look and how slim you would like to become, do it. You need to do this so that you will have a vivid goal on the size that you would like to achieve. Include in your picture, what kind of dress you are going to wear, how will you exactly look and how will you feel. These will motivate you again. And the brighter the picture that you will create, the greater chance that you will achieve it.

Summer tip #4—Setting small milestones that will result to larger realities and rewarding yourself off. It would be more realistic if your milestones will begin from the small ones and developing into bigger ones, since with this style, you will see results right away. This would mean, say, some 2-3 pounds apart first. Then once you achieved this, reward yourself and treat your hair to a parlor, or a beautician to do something with your looks, or buy a new pair of shoes. Small things like these can make a big change.

Summer tip #5—Be accountable for whatever may happen while you are in the process. It would be unwise if we will be fully motivated only in the begging and will suddenly lose track in the middle when something distracted us. Weigh yourself on a weekly basis so that you will have the encouragement and the lift in the knowledge that you are indeed progressing. Stay focus and don’t let those minor setbacks stopped you from succeeding. If you have someone who will be there to set the encouragement, it would also help.

Everything is just a mind set. You only need to focus when you decide to follow those weight loss tips you will see along the way in your attempt to be slimmer this summer. And it would also be best to think that you are also doing your health a huge favor in getting fit and slim.

Diet Plans And Menus – The Low Carb Diet

The Low Carb Diet makes you burn calories by exercising. Its program objectives include reinforcing your muscles and building your endurance. Eat according to your body’s needs. Your body requires water, fiber, proteins, essential fatty acids, natural glucides, and micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals. Because glucide abuse leads to weight gain, the Low Carb Diet proposes stringent limits. The strict version of the diet calls for 10 to 30 grams (about a third of an ounce to an ounce) daily. The moderate version calls for 30 to 50 grams daily. Here are some of the diet principles.

This diet lasts four weeks. Be sure to eat foods whose glycemic index is low, mostly fruits and vegetables. Augment your fiber consumption to 30 grams daily. Eat proteins; they enable your body to conserve its muscle mass as you lose weight. The more protein that you eat, the less hungry you will be. Eat as much animal protein as vegetable protein but don’t eat meat seven days a week. Don’t eat more than one egg a day. Cook with olive, walnut, or linseed oil instead of butter. Eat fatty fish twice a week. Enjoy two servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables daily. It is suggested to consume a plate of raw vegetables, a glass of vegetable juice, and a portion of steamed vegetables every day. Practice an endurance sport such as walking, speed walking, bicycling, or swimming. It’s best to do so in the morning before breakfast.

One advantage of the Low Carb Diet is its focus on exercise. The absence of sugar makes this diet hard to follow for many people. It tends to be monotonous. The low level of calories stops many people from playing a sport because they are short on energy.

Here are two sample menus:
Menu 1
Breakfast: 2 yogurts. 100 grams of red fruit. Tea.
Lunch: A green salad with shallots. A turkey schnitzel. Tomatoes provencales.
Supper: Lentil soup. Mixed vegetables. An orange.

Menu 2
Breakfast: Two plain yogurts mixed with a bowl of strawberries.
Lunch: A green salad. A chicken leg. As much zucchini and carrots as you want. An apple.
Supper: A plate of celeriac. Mussels with tomatoes. A soy dessert.
